For various reasons the Club kit will still be made by Endura, and I have now had a response from them to say that that they will have no problems in producing the design submitted. Their production time is around 11 weeks at the moment. (I like to think that is a reflection on how good, and how popular they are). At the moment the committee have only discussed the short sleeved top, as I feel that this is the most important part of the kit. A range of clothing similar to what we had will be produced, all based on the themes of the top. I will present these at the next committee meeting on Thursday 19th April.

Please note that the Club is not looking to make a profit on kit, and it has already been agreed that a one-off discount of £20 will be allowed to all fully paid-up members of the Club. Endura gives discount depending on the size of the order, so I am not in a position to give you the exact cost of the top.

I also need to explain that there are 3 levels of kit quality at Endura. To give you a comparison on these I am going to quote individual prices from the catalogue which do not include VAT or any discount. Short jersey with full zip: basic model £36
pro £59
Equipe £69 (there has to be a minimum of 5 Equipe garments of one single style per order).
Everything you have had before has been from the basic range, but I know some of you felt you wanted something better, so this is an option to consider. I am supposed to be getting samples of the pro and Equipe range being sent to me... but they have not arrived yet.

To try and speed up the ordering process could I please ask you all to FIRSTLY let me know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you want a top and what style and your size. If you are not sure of your size go into the Endura site as they have a helpful guide. Ladies sizes are also available. We will worry about payment later. If you know of anyone who doesn't have the internet, or who doesn't read the forum please have a word in their ear.

SECONDLY, what other items of kit would you want to have based on what is currently available? Shorts will obviously be made available, as well as long sleeved tops, gilets, and Windtex jackets and buffs. There is also an ulta packable which some of you have. Let me have an idea of your wants and we could start the ordering process sooner rather than later.

Everyone please, this batch of orders is for just short sleeved shirts and the closing date for placing your order with Alec is the 30th April.
